Who is eligible to benefit from the Vivili Team College program?

frequently asked questions

  • Team members must be enrolled at least two classes per semester (Tier 1) or enrolled in 12 credits per semester (Tier 2) and will be reimbursed when you finish the semester for each class in which they earn a C or better. Tuition payments will be on a payment plan, which you will be responsible for making payments during the course term. You will be reimbursed at the end of each term. However, if for some reason you drop out or do not pass the class you are responsible for the tuition.

  • Wide, unrestricted choice of majors: Team members can choose any major or college path that they want to choose. Yavapai offers a Bachelor’s of Science in Business and various associate degrees such as Computer Science, Business, Nursing, Agriculture Technology, Advanced Manufacturing, and even Brewing Technology! Some degree programs are fully online (Management, Paralegal, Administration of Justice, Associate of Arts transfer degree).

No commitment after graduation: This program is open to any benefits-eligible team member working an average of 20 hours per week (Tier 1) or 32 hours per week (Tier 2) with no commitment to stay after completing 61 credit hours.

Excellent student services to help navigate college: A personal enrollment coach along with academic and financial aid counselors will help you navigate the entire process of applying, choosing the right major and selecting the right classes to meet their academic goals.

Automatic reimbursement: There are no paperwork hurdles—reimbursement shows up automatically in paychecks if you remain benefits-eligible. Team members will just need to bring a copy of their Yavapai College transcripts and a receipt of the tuition payments to their payroll manager.

  • There is no real ‘catch.’ The only requirements are that you maintain an average of 20 hours per week (Tier 1) or 32 hours per week (Tier 2) over the span of any month, stay enrolled and finish your classes with a passing grade of a C or better. If you did choose to drop-out or if you failed the course or leave the Vivili Hospitality group, you would be responsible for that class tuition.
